Diagnostic Features of Adults Body size variable, from small (less than 10 mm) to moderate-sized (between 10-40 mm); generally elongate; with or without metallic reflection. Eyes generally reniform, complete (not completely divided into upper and lower lobes). Antennae generally filiform, unarmed; antennae 11-segmented, antennal length variable, from short (not extending beyond tip of abdomen) to long (extending beyond tip of abdomen). Pronotum variable, from generally elongate (distinctly longer than wide) to approximately subquadrate (about as long as wide); lateral margins of pronotum with distinct blunt tubercles or not; pronotum shape variable, distinctly narrower basally or not; pronotum surface variable, from distinctly shining, glabrous or not. Elytral apices without distinct spines. Metafemoral length variable, from distinctly longer than profemora or not. Diagnostic Features of Larvae Not yet available for this taxon. Geographic Distribution of Tribe Afrotropic, Australasia, Palearctic Biology and Economic Importance Biology unknown for members of this tribe. Species of this tribe are potentially invasive outside their native range.
