Classification Diagnostic Features of Larvae
  • Larva. Only separable from Trigonarthris proxima by the larger, more or less confluent tubercles of the ampullae, the ventral rows number seven or eight. Head less hairy. Pupa. Form as in adult; bearing two transverse bands of short, stiff setae or spines on posterior margin of pronotum, a few on mesonotum, and more numerous ones on metanotum; each abdominal tergum bears a transverse group on each side of the median line and a fringe on the last tergum.
