Diagnostic Features of Adults
  • Body size variable, from small (less than 10 mm) to moderate-sized (between 10-40 mm); generally elongate; with or without metallic reflection. Antennae generally filiform; antennal length variable, from short (not extending beyond tip of abdomen) to long (extending beyond tip of abdomen). Pronotum generally cylindrical, distinctly longer than wide; lateral margins of pronotum armed with a distinct blunt tubercle.
