Diagnostic Features of Adults
  • Body moderate-sized (between 10-40 mm); generally ovoid; without metallic reflection. Antennae filiform; antennae short (not extending beyond tip of abdomen). Pronotum shape variable, from subquadrate (about as long as wide) to transverse (distinctly wider than long); lateral margins of pronotum armed with distinct blunt tubercles.
