  • The tribe Vesperini Mulsant, 1839 currently contains 20 species in 1 genus (Vives, 2004). Photographs of 2 exemplar specimens are currently available for this tribe.
Diagnostic Features of Adults
  • Antennae borne on raised tubercles. Number of abdominal ventrites 7-8. Exposed portion of metepisternum moderately elongate. Temples longer than length of eye. Ventral mesotarsal lobes on more than one tarsomere. Prothoracic trochantin or pleurotrochantin at least partly exposed (Lawrence, 2007).
