Diagnostic Features of Adults
  • Antennae shorter than the body, without fringe of long hairs. Elongated head behind the eyes. Maxillary palps of male simple, without appendix. Pronotum cylindrical. Intermediate coxal cavities closed. Hind tibiae toothed (Villiers, 1961).

  • Adults on plant surfaces; larvae in wood; xylophagous (Lawrence, 2007).
