  • The tribe Heteropalpini Villiers, 1961 currently contains 3 species in 2 genera. Photographs of 2 exemplar specimens are currently available for this tribe.
Diagnostic Features of Adults
  • Antennae longer than body, equipped with a fringe of long hairs. Maxillary palps of males bear a long membranous, pubescent appendage which is longer than fourth segment, the latter forming a right angle with the second. Fourth article of maxillary palps of female expanded and truncated at the apex (Villiers, 1961).
