Diagnostic Features of Adults
  • Antennae shorter than the body, without fringe of long hairs. Temples short. Maxillary palps of the males with a membranous appendage shorter than the fourth article. Pronotum tuberculate laterally. Intermediate coxal cavities open. Hind tibiae not dentate (Villiers, 1961).

  • Adults on plant surfaces; larvae in wood; xylophagous (Lawrence, 2007).
