Capsules are square in cross-section, turbinate, 4 winged, 1-2.2 cm long x 1-1.7 cm wide; rim thick; disc level to descending; valves 4, exserted. Flower buds are pedicellate, pendulous, square in cross-section, 2.5-3.3 x 0.8-1.3cm, typically 3 flowered.
