Diagnosis
The smaller Ancipitis, 2.9−3.6 mm long (mean = 3.20 mm; n = 5); 2.14−2.73 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by its moderate size; declivital striaestria:
punctures in rows, which may or may not be impressed to make grooves
and interstriaeinterstria:
longitudinal spaces along the elytra between the striae, which is not as<br />
impressed and bear smaller punctures.
