Key characters
- setae c1, d1, e1 obviously spatulate (Figs. 1, 2, 3)
- seta h1 obviously longer than h2 (Fig. 4)
- seta h2 strongly spatulate (Fig. 4)
- seta f2 obviously shorter than f3 (Fig. 4)
- coxae III-IV nude
- femur II with 3 setae (d, bv", v' present; l' absent)
- genua I-II with 3 setae (d, l', l")
- tarsus I with companion seta longer than solenidion (Fig. 5)
- tarsus II with companion seta slightly longer than solenidion (check if broken), or subequal to solenidion (Figs. 6, 7)
- dorsal seta on tibiae I-II with spatulate to thick, blunt tip (Fig. 8)
- palp tibiotarsus with one solenidion and one tapered, setiform eupathidium distally (Fig. 9), and one seta dorsally
- setae ps1 and ps2 inserted adjacent to each other
- male with moderately short ps1 setae, 10-12 microns (Fig. 10)
- male femur II and genua I-II same as female
- larva with elongate, filiform setae h2

Silver-leaved ironbark, Eucalyptus melanophloia (Myrtaceae)
Remarks
This species is placed in the wandoo species group proposed by Beard et al. (2018) (accidentally referred to as being in the australica group in Beard et. al. 2018).
This species was listed as species 1 in Dowling et al. (2012).
