Key characters
- f2 absent (Figs. 1-3)

inserted in lateral position (Figs. 1-3- h2
not elongate - gnathosoma concealed under prodorsum (gnathosoma is often extruded in strongly flattened specimens) (Figs. 1-3)
- dorsal setae short, lanceolate
- anterior margin of prodorsum smoothly rounded, without notch or projection (Fig. 4)
- ventral, genital and anal plates membranous, not well developed (Fig. 5)
- 2 pairs ps setae (Fig. 5)
- 5 segmented palp
Similar taxa
Palpipalpus - seta f2 present; with pair of rounded projections on anterior margin of prodorsum; palp tibia with two setae (one in Crossipalpus); genua I-IV 2-2-0-0 (1-1-0-0 in Crossipalpus)
