ITP is pleased to announce the release of Fruits and Seeds of Legume Genera of the World.

The Fabaceae or legume family is morphologically diverse and species-rich. Legume fruits and seeds are commercially important, ranging from valuable crops to noxious weeds.  This comprehensive tool to identify legume fruits and seeds to genus, first published in 2003 yet unavailable for many years, has now been released in a fully accessible format. Developed in cooperation with Colorado State University, users can now view the original, unmodified content within an easily navigable website. Fabaceae fact sheets contain in-depth descriptions, there are thousands of drawings and photos, and a matrix-based multi-access key includes recommended features.
